The Maronite Academy is an initiative undertaken by the Maronite Foundation. Its aim is to introduce young Lebanese immigrants around the world to their country of origin, Lebanon.
In August 2016, and for the 4th consecutive year, the Maronite Academy gathers Lebanese youth from around the world on Lebanese soil!
The selected candidates (between the ages of 24 and 32, of Lebanese descent, living abroad) will undergo online e-learning sessions to build their knowledge about Lebanon and the Maronite Heritage. Once successfully completing the online courses, the candidates will experience an organised two-week trip to Lebanon (from August 6th – August 21st 2016), with all expenses being covered by the Maronite Foundation.
During their stay in Lebanon, the candidates will bond with their roots and explore the history of Lebanon and the Maronite heritage through specialised seminars given by prominent figures and various site visits.
Please note that the successful completion of the e-curriculum does not guarantee the participation in the Maronite Academy’s all-expense-paid two week trip to Lebanon.
The Maronite Academy 2016 Educational trip to Lebanon
After the committee processes the submitted applications, preference is given to the applicants who registered Lebnani and helped their relatives and friends register at the Lebanese consulate, or helped them submit their files to the Maronite Foundation offices or coordinators.
Refer them to: http://www.registerlebnani.com/Lebanese-Citizenship-Eligibility.asp
Upon their registration, people who have been referred by you should stipulate your name in the referral field.
Moreover, preference will be given to those whose purposes, aspirations, and skills are most clearly aligned with the mission of the Maronite Foundation in the World. Diversity of gender, locations and nationality will also be considered.
Selection for the educational trip to Lebanon is highly dependent upon levels of engagement, motivation, and thinking skills that the participants demonstrate during online sessions, and the final essay to be submitted at the final phase of the course.
Finally, the successful candidates chosen will partake in the Academy’s class of 2016, and have the chance to live an unforgettable experience; a free two week trip to Lebanon from August 6th – August 21st 2016, with all expenses covered by the Maronite Foundation.
